Pine Lake Preparatory is seeking a full-time, Interim Campus and Athletics Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team for a temporary assignment. This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and school grounds, including the athletic facilities.  Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to.

• Survey and overall maintenance and repair of buildings and mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
• Pest control activities, such as spraying insecticide
• General upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)
• Completion of daily duties checklist with more specific responsibilities
• Maintenance of the Athletic Complex fields and grounds

 

This position requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10–50 pounds.  The candidate must: 1) be able to work well with others, 2) be able to respond positively to supervision and suggestions for improvement, 3) be able to work independently, with minimal supervision and 4) have the ability to represent the school positively at various public functions on campus.  Candidates must provide their own transportation to and from work.

 

One year of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
