Pine Lake Preparatory, a North Carolina A rated public charter school, is currently seeking a charismatic and innovative Part-time Spanish Dual Language/Immersion Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will be motivated, engaging, and have the ability to work in diverse teams.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Provide high quality Spanish Language instruction for grades 6 – 8, including Spanish immersion social studies classes.
• Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged 
• Maintain records and communicate students' progress and development
• Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and adheres to PLP's Code of Conduct 

The candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have demonstrated ability to teach native speaker courses in social studies Spanish immersion.  Native speakers of the Spanish language are preferred. The candidate will be required to uphold standards set by the NC Department of Public Instruction. Desirable applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
